Grape ‘Fragola’

An excellent and productive variety for the garden, where is makes a lovely decorative feature too. Attractive lobed foliage cloaks its stems throughout summer, turning a rich tapestry of gold in autumn. September sees its small red grapes ripen, with a rich, intense flavour and a delicious hint of strawberries. Delicious as a dessert grape, but also a good choice for juice and wine making. Grape ‘Fragola’ is a vigorous and easy to grow variety which will enjoy a sunny wall outdoors. Height of cordon trained vine: 1.8m (6’). Spread of cordon trained vine: 1.5m (5’). Untrained plants may reach up to 8m (26’).
