Itea Virginica ‘Love Child’

This hardy deciduous shrub is neat and compact with a lovely rounded habit. From late spring, Itea virginica ‘Love Child’ is laced with creamy, white flowers spikes that that droop demurely downwards. The fragrant blooms stand out beautifully against its bright, green foliage. As autumn approaches the leaves turn to rich burgundy, adding a splash of colour to fading borders. Itea virginica requires a moist, acid to neutral soil – perfect for woodland edges or as a specimen shrub in acid borders. Height and spread: 120cm (48″).
